Q: How long does it take to produce a Yearbook?
A: That depends on several factors (including how quickly you get your proofs back to us), but could be anything from 3 weeks to 3 months.
Q: What happens if we're late with our copy?
A: If your copy is very late, it can affect your delivery date, although we do try to work miracles and will always do our best to keep you on schedule.
Q: You want all the text on disc, how do you want us to do this?
A: All the text should be supplied as Microsoft Wordpad files, one document per page, then saved on to either the supplied USB Memory Stick or a CD/DVD. Our production guide and Demonstration video which are available once you make a booking provide full details on this.
Q: I've had my proof for the first section, but I want to change some photos and text, can I still do this?
A: Of corse you can, we do advise however that major changes near the end of the yearbook process may affect your deadline.
Q: Can we change our colour content?
A: Yes, but please be aware of any increase or decrease in price that might arise as a result.
Q: I've collected all our deposits, do you want the 135 cheques I've got or one from the school?
A: Just one cheque from the school please.
Q: Do we have to use your clipart and fonts, or can we supply our own?
A: You should use the fonts that we supply, but you are welcome to provide your own clipart please supply this in the .JPEG file format.
Q: Do I need to keep a back up copy of our text/photos on a separate disc?
A: Yes, please back up everything, either on discs or on a hard drive at school.

Q: How much help do we get from Hardy's?
A: The first thing that will happen when you make an enquiry is that one of our Sales Managers will contact you to discuss your requirements. If you are happy to go straight ahead a pack will be sent to you via post. If you have the meeting you will be told exactly how to go about producing your Yearbook, and you will be left with all the specialist materials, including our full colour production guide and a video presentation of how to produce a yearbook (this is on the FREE USB memory stick given to all Hardy’s customers). After that, you get all the material together, ready to send in to us. We are always on the end of the phone should you have any questions or problems. We have found that 99% of all issues can be resolved by phone or email.
Q: Do you return our photos?
A: Yes, we will send all your copy back to you, free of charge, once the book has been completed and the final bill has been paid.
Q: What do we do if we have to cancel the project?
A: Please contact us as soon as possible. If in exceptional circumstances you need to cancel your order, then depending on the reason and the amount of work already undertaken by us, you may receive a refund of your deposit where paid.
